The famous Empire State Building captured in deco style c. 1930s. This graphic reproduction is mastered from a linen printed postcard illustration. The texture of original offset lithography on linen finish card stock is captured on vellum finish print paper (see detail).
The original illustration was a tourist piece appearing in Manhattan shops and drugstores. Re-mastered by Posterette, the "EMPIRE DAY NYC" poster is both vintage and timely. The design embodies the illustration style of the Manhattan Post Card Co., a leading provider of postcards during the mid 20th Century. Posterette has taken great care to integrate authentic typography and design elements to create this series of New York Skyline posters (Posterettes).
This reproduction has carefully restored the original luster of the original print and offers a great wall decor.
